About me

My name is Jan van Os, I am Eindhoven born and bred. 

I have been playing the guitar since I was 7 years old.  Under the tutelage of various guitar teachers since then I have learned various styles of guitar, including classical (from many countries), rock, pop, blues and country.

I have played lead guitar in a variety of bands, including country, rock and pop.  More recently I have played solo gigs with a repertoire influenced by the various bands I have previously played with.

These experiences have given me a broad base of knowledge from which to draw upon to both play and teach.

Guitar Lessons

I am currenlty studying at the Bourdon Hogeschool vor Muziek (classical training, theory and guitar).

I play the acoustic guitar, electrical guitar, bass guitar and the banjo.  I have created lesson plans from my own style and influences, lesson books and I have included in these plans the adaptability to incorporate individual tastes.

All lessons can also be done through English.  I am fluent in English, as it is the dominent language in my home (my wife is Irish and we speak English).
